Partial List of Newton Listserves, Google Groups, and information distributions.  PR is a serious challenge in Newton, there is no one place to get the word out. DO NOT COPY and mass email, each resource must be carefully targeted and relevant to its audience otherwise you will be blacklisted.

Newton Arts Pass

Newton Arts Pass (NAP) provides access to arts and cultural events and programs to those in need in our community, for free or at a discounted rate. Passes are available to Newton residents, or families with children enrolled in Newton Public Schools. You will find participating programs on the Newton Arts Calendar; just look for the NAP logo then email culture@newtonma.gov or call 617-796-1540 to check for availability and claim a pass.

If you are an artist or organization and would like to participate in Newton Arts Pass by providing tickets or scholarships, email culture@newtonma.gov with information about your event/program. You can also support NAP directly with your financial contributions by clicking HERE

Newton Art Association Organization of over 200 active artists and art enthusiasts, representing all branches of the visual arts, from drawing to sculpture.

Newton Cultural Alliance Local arts and culture non-profit, member-based organization, whose mission is to promote, sustain, and enhance art and culture in Newton.

Newton Community Pride Since 1989 Newton Community Pride, a non-profit volunteer organization, has been enriching the cultural life and community in Newton, Massachusetts.

The Suzuki School of Newton is a non-profit Suzuki music school located in Waban, MA whose mission is to instill a love and respect for music that will enrich its students throughout their lives, and to promote early childhood intellectual, cultural and character development through the teaching philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki that incorporates musical instrument instruction, parent involvement and community performances.

Newton Theatre Company Theatre company whose mission is to stage excellent works of art in new ways by using talent from around the City of Newton.

Newton Youth Players Offers an after-school program for elementary school children, grades 2 through 5, runs through the fall, winter and spring seasons. During this time we put on three adaptations of beloved Broadway musicals. Our Summer Theatre arts program gives children an opportunity to be part of a summer stock experience in a day-camp-like setting. Young actors entering grades 1 through 6 spend their mornings with professionals who specialize in drama, music, scenery design and choreography. This fun-filled three-week program culminates in a wonderful musical production.

Newton Watercolor Society

New Arts Center The New Art Center is a community art education space which offers everyone, at all levels of ability, exceptional opportunities to make, exhibit, view, think about and talk about art.

Waban Improvement Society is a non-profit which sponsors the Newton Piano Summit, runs the Waban Library Center and puts on an annual Village Day.
